Artist Statement

Shalom! Thank you for visiting my site! Here 's a little about me:

I grew up in Seattle, Washington and immigrated to Israel in 1993. After living in Tzfat for 30 years I now make my home in Haifa, one of Israel's most dynamic and varied cities, which reminds me strongly of my childhood home in Seattle. I studied art in the 1980's in the University of Washington, and in 2019 - 24 at the Academy of Figurative Art in Israel.

I love working on many varied subjects including portraits, landscapes, still life, and abstract themes from kabbalah and Chassidic philosophy.

I work to create pictures that both catch the eye and hold your attention - art should give you something you really want to look at! Choose art that fills you with hope, peace, and inspiration. Choose art that will make your space bright, appealing, happy and calm.

I am equally at home with oils, acrylics and pastels. I am happy to work with you to create custom art that will enhance your space, perhaps with a family portrait, a still life of cherished objects or a beloved view. You can contact me by email at biblicalgarden"at' gmail dot com.
